Iveco to spin off Defense unit after profit drop; unions raise concerns
On May 15, multiple sources reported that Iveco Group will move forward with plans to sell or spin off its Defense division, after reporting weak results for the first quarter. Operating profit for its industrial business dropped 42% to EUR 117 million, mainly due to lower truck demand in Europe.
