BMW partners with SK tes, Singapore for battery recycling
On January 13, BMW announced that it has formed a pan-European partnership with SK tes, a Singapore based tech lifecycle solution. The partnership will recycle cobalt, nickel, and lithium from used batteries. The closed-loop system will expand to the US, Mexico, and Canada by 2026.
