JMS 2023: Nissan unveils five concept cars, including the next-generation Hyper Force supercar

At the Japan Mobility Show 2023 (JMS 2023) press briefing held at Tokyo Big Sight, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (Nissan) President and CEO Mr. Makoto Uchida took the stage to unveil five concept cars, including the next-generation high-performance supercar Nissan Hyper Force, the last in the EV concept car series, presented in conjunction with a character based on the image of a symbolic user.

The Nissan Hyper Force combines the ultimate in driving pleasure with high environmental performance and everyday comfort, with its all-solid-state battery and high-output motor powertrain that delivers a maximum output of 1,000kW. The Nissan Hyper Force is available in two drive modes: R (Racing) mode, which allows the driver to achieve maximum performance while steering the car at will on circuits, and GT (Grand Touring) mode, which allows the driver to drive the car in comfort. In addition, by wearing a special helmet that allows users to experience augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), users can enjoy driving in both the real and virtual worlds.

Also on display at JMS 2023 are the compact crossover EV Nissan Hyper Punk and the premium EV minivan Nissan Hyper Tourer.

The five concept cars presented at the show embody the spirit of "doing what others don't do" that Nissan has inherited since its founding, and symbolize the future that Nissan is aiming for. President Uchida said that Nissan will continue to create a future where all people can enjoy exciting mobility with the power of innovation.
