Mack Trucks workers reject 19% pay raise over 5 years, go on strike
On October 9, nearly 4,000 UAW members at Mack Trucks walked off the job at 7 a.m. in Macungie and Middletown, Pennsylvania; Hagerstown and Baltimore, Maryland; and Jacksonville, Florida after voting by a 73% margin to reject a tentative agreement reached October 1.
