SAECCE 2024 New Energy Vehicles Primary Session |
The 31st China Society of Automotive Engineers Congress and Exhibition (SAECCE 2024) was held in Chongqing from November 11-14, 2024. Under the theme "Emergent Intelligence leads to a New Stage of Accelerated Transformation," the event included the opening ceremony, a general conference, four main forums, 87 specialized forums and technical research discussions. More than 100 domestic and foreign companies and brands exhibited at the concurrent technology exhibition. The exhibition covered 15,000 square meters and was attended by over 6,000 delegates from more than 30 countries.
This report introduces some of the presentations given at the New Energy Vehicles Primary Session and the 2024 Solid-State Battery Materials and Technology Innovation Forum, both held on November 13th. Guest speakers from Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (Geely), Chery Automobile Co. Ltd. (Chery), and GAC Aion New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. (Aion) took the stage. Geely Automobile mainly presented current hybrid technologies and future technology trends. Chery Automobile mainly introduced its "Yaoguang" technology strategy and new energy technologies such as hybrid engines, hybrid transmissions, electric drives, and batteries, while GAC Aion mainly introduced the development trends of drive batteries and technological progress of solid-state batteries.
