Hyundai extends shutdown at Piracicaba plant until May 27 restart
On April 23, Hyundai Motors announced it has extended the production shutdown at its plant in Piracicaba, Brazil, where the HB20 and Creta models are manufactured, to now restart on May 27.
The Piracicaba plant has been shut down since March 26 due to the coronavirus pandemic, idling its nearly 2,700 employees.
