Volkswagen Mexico agrees to 5.5% salary increase for workers
Volkswagen has averted a strike in Mexico by agreeing to a 5.5% salary increase for workers plus a 1% increase in the workers' savings fund and the indexation of food allowance vouchers, according to an August 19 tweet by the independent union of Volkswagen workers (SITIAVW).
