The Perodua Axia, manufactured in Malaysia, is an A-segment compact hatchback jointly developed with Daihatsu that utilizes the DNGA platform. Positioned as Perodua's entry-level model at an affordable price point, it has maintained strong sales in the Malaysian market. In terms of safety features, it is equipped with Advanced Safety Assist. The blind spot monitor sensors and camera ECU are supplied by Denso, while the electric power steering ECU is supplied by Furukawa Electric. Additionally, chassis components such as the frame are supplied by Namicoh Suria, a local joint venture between Namicoh and Suria Component Manufacturing, a major Malaysian Tier 1 supplier.
