On June 23, Cars.com released its American-Made Index. For 2026, the top five U.S.-made vehicles and their production plants were as follows:

2. Tesla Model Y / Tesla, Fremont Plant (CA) and Tesla Gigafactory Texas (TX)
3. Jeep Gladiator / Stellantis, FCA US, Toledo Assembly Complex (OH)
4. Jeep Grand Cherokee / Stellantis, FCA US, Detroit Assembly Complex (MI)
5. Honda Ridgeline / Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC (HDMA), Alabama Auto Plant (AL)

The Wuling Hongguang MINI EV is a Segment A hatchback electric vehicle (EV) produced at two plants in China and one plant in Vietnam. With an affordable base price of CNY 32,800, annual sales in 2025 totaled approximately 441,000 units. Cost efficiency is a key priority in parts procurement. ABS/ESC are supplied by SAIC Lianchuang, e-Axle by Liuzhou Saike, and BMS by LIGOO. Batteries are sourced from Chinese manufacturers including Gotion and REPT.
