Statistics
US production in May fall 4.7%
Nissan and Stellantis increased production, mainly of SUVs and pickups, and GM maintained production at the same level as the previous year. However, production cuts by Tesla, Ford, Toyota, and Hyundai have an impact, resulting in an overall decline compared to the previous year.
Malaysian May sales fall 12%
While the overall market declines, Proton sees an increase in sales of the Saga and X50, whereas Perodua and Toyota fall below the previous year's figures due to weak sales of their main models.
