Exclusive Interview: ETAS and Elektrobit ADAS Platform

ETAS and Elektrobit Automotive have announced a jointly developed Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) software platform. The XPeng G6 is the best-selling D-segment electric SUV among XPeng models in Europe. Deliveries began in Northern Europe and the Netherlands around August 2024. In 2025, an upgraded G6 (supporting 5C fast charging and featuring an 800V SiC architecture) was announced for the European market, with orders opening in July 2025. The supply chain primarily consists of Chinese suppliers, though it also incorporates some overseas suppliers such as NVIDIA and Qualcomm. The drive battery packs are manufactured by CALB, while the battery packs for REEV model and rear 3-in-1 electric drive system are produced in-house by Xpeng Group subsidiary. The inverter is sourced from Inovance, and the integrated on-board charger and DC-DC converter unit is supplied by Shinry Technologies. The ADAS chip is sourced from NVIDIA, and the cockpit SoC from Qualcomm. The braking system is supplied from Bosch.
