EREV/REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicles) equipped with generator engines are now available in Model Launch Schedules.

These vehicles are increasingly being introduced, particularly by Chinese OEMs, and we currently list 111 models.

Supply chain: Toyota RAV4

The all-new RAV4 (6th generation) will launch its HEV model in December 2025 (5th generation in power train) and its PHEV model in March 2026.

It adopts Toyota's first new software platform, "Arene," and features the third-generation Toyota Safety Sense safety system.
Production will be decentralized across Japan, Canada, the U.S., and China, depending on the market. For the Japanese-produced models, Toyota Group companies feature prominently in the supply chain: the lithium-ion battery for the PHEV model is supplied by Prime Planet Energy & Solutions (PPES); the ADAS domain controller by Denso; the regenerative cooperative braking system by ADVICS; mirrors by Murakami Corporation; seat belts by Tokai Rika; and seats by TACHI-S. Meanwhile, for the Canadian-produced models, North American Tier 1 suppliers such as Adient (seats) and Mitchell Plastics (instrument panel components) are also utilized.
