Supply chain: Rivian R1S
The drive battery uses Samsung SDI's 2170-type cylindrical cells. (The R2 model, scheduled for release in 2026, is expected to use larger 4695 cylindrical cells manufactured by LG Energy Solution.)
The drive motor was initially from Bosch, but since 2024, Rivian has been using its in-house Enduro motor.
The ADAS chip is from NVIDIA, and the cockpit platform (SoC) is from Qualcomm.
The forward distance radar is from Aumovio, the parking radar and cameras are from HL Klemove (a subsidiary of HL Mando), and the ultrasonic sensors are from Valeo.
