On September 19, PJSC Tuimazinsky Concrete Truck Plant (TZA), a subsidiary of Kamaz in Bashkiria, has launched a new line for the production of semi-trailers.
Production will take place in several stages at Bashkiria plant. At the first stage, it is planned to produce curtainsider of length 13.6 meter and flatbed semitrailers with a universal frame for the installation of various axle units (SAF, BPW, VALX) with a production volume of up to 180 units per month.
In the future, it is planned to manufacture other models of semitrailers. Soon, curtain side semitrailers manufactured by TZA PJSC of various modifications with the use of components from leading European manufacturers will go on sale to the official dealers of Kamaz PTC.

On September 16, Kamaz announced the launch of new plant in Bashkiria for the production of springs, with an investment of RUB 500 million.
The main idea of the project is to provide Russian enterprises vehicle manufacturers with uninterrupted supplies at competitive prices with high-quality auto components. It is possible to improve the quality of spring products to the level of European standards, to master new types of springs and trailing springs of complex configuration of sheets.
KAMAZ, URAL and Uralvagonzavod will become the main consumers of the products manufactured at the plant.

On September 14, KAMAZ announced that at Naberezhnye Chelny, a large-scale reengineering project under way at the KAMAZ press and stamping plant: there is a new modern production facility built to produce frames with high corrosion resistance and strength properties for a new KAMAZ truck line.
This production facility has three lines: an automatic line producing frame side rails, a line painting frame side rails and frame parts, as well as a frame assembly line. The quality of the frames is now higher thanks to the modern equipment and tools.
An automated component transfer system will deliver components to the desired position timely and transmit data on the current remainder on the assembly line. The new technologies will enable to produce frames for all KAMAZ vehicles produced by the company. The new production is 70% automated. The production capacity is 65 thousand frames per year.
