研发活动
-集团拥有新技术开发和新业务创造的基础——子公司Motherson Innovation，在印度、日本、美国、英国、澳大利亚、德国设有研发中心和业务开发基地。
-通过子公司，集团拥有专利约900项，发布的产品包括后视镜系统集成数字图像的智能电子后视镜、下一代摄像头系统、ADAS产品等。
-研发主要领域有以下4点。
- 安全：开发提高乘员和行人安全的产品。集成传感器、智能物体检测解决方案、车道偏离预警系统、后视镜集成型盲点警示灯、摄像头监控系统等。
- 环保：使用对环境影响小、可回收的材料，减小组件的尺寸，减少使用材料和燃料消耗。内饰系统采用轻量天然纤维等。
- 性能/效率：通过推出界面显示屏等更加高级且有魅力的高附加值产品，最大程度改善乘坐舒适性。
- 装饰：通过施加高光泽加工、装饰性金属表面处理等时尚终加工，提高车辆美感。
合资业务
-2019年4月，Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL)与Hamakyorex对半出资成立合资公司。通过成立该合资公司，Hamakyorex旨在扩大日本的3PL(第三方物流)业务和印度的物流业务。该合资公司注册资本9.2亿卢比，2019年6月开始运营。
