Joint Venture
-In 2013, the Company formed a joint venture called NextLock LLC (NextLock) with Actuator Systems LLC, holding a 51% interest in the entity. NextLock assembles and sells biometric security products. Products for both residential and commercial applications will be available in early 2014. NextLock plans to expand its applications to the automotive market in the future.Awards

R&D Structure

-In the fiscal year ended June 29, 2014, the Company invested mainly in new product programs, and in the upgrade and replacement of existing equipment.
-The Company anticipates its capital expenditures will be approximately USD 21 million in the fiscal year ending June 28, 2015. The capital expenditures will be invested towards the establishment of a new plant in Juarez, Mexico and expansion of a sales and engineering office in Michigan, U.S.
Investment outside U.S.
<Mexico>-In 2014, the Company acquired a third facility in Juarez, Mexico near its second facility to accommodate sales growth in latches and door handle components.
