New subsidiary

-The Company announced that will establish a wholly owned subsidiary in Toyota City, Aichi, Japan. The subsidiary is named HASCO Vision Technology Japan Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of JPY 50 million. Its scope of business includes the design, import and export and sales of automotive components. (From a press release dated September 20, 2019)

Product development

-Ambarella Inc. (Ambarellaannounced that it has teamed up with HASCO Vision Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (HASCO Visionand SAIC Group's IM Motors (Zhiji Motors in Chinese) to create a smart car lighting system that can sense the driving environment and achieve full- scenario adaptive lighting. 2021 Shanghai Motor Show

-The Company exhibited PML (Programmable Macro Language)  programmable intelligent DLP (Digital Light Processing) headlights and taillights with ISC  (short-circuit current)  technology at the 2021 Shanghai Motor Show. R&D Facility

-The Company concluded a strategic agreement with Shanghai Motor Vehicle Inspection Certification & Tech Innovation Center Co., Ltd. (From a release dated July 27, 2021)

HASCO Vision Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. R&D Center Oct. 2001 -The center is a specialized R&D facility for automotive lamps. 
-The center consists of three departments: Technology Development Department, Tooling Department, and Production Technology Department.
-The company is carrying out joint development projects with a number of universities in China such as Tsinghua University, Fudan University, and University of Shanghai for Science and Technology with an aim to develop new technologies, new light sources, and new materials for headlights.
