Ford reduces jobs, investment, capacity plans for Marshall EV battery plant by 42%
On November 21, Ford announced it is reducing its commitment to a planned Marshall, Michigan-area EV battery facility with a reduced footprint, workforce, and production capacity, but retaining its goal to open the plant by 2026, as it “thinks about matching production and future capacity based on demand."
