Business Overview

-In March 2024, Samvardhana Motherson Automotive Systems Group BV (SMRP) completed the acquisition of Yachiyo Industry Co., Ltd. and integrated it into the Company through SAMIL’s Modules & Polymer Products division. The acquisition of Yachiyo Industry expands the Company’s portfolio to include products such as sunroof systems, fuel tanks, bumpers and rear slide windows. In October 2024, Yachiyo Industry changed its name to Motherson Yachiyo Automotive Systems Co., Ltd.
-In March 2024, the Company’s parent entity, Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) implemented an internal restructuring plan to simplify the organization of its international businesses. SAMIL will integrate most of its international businesses under the Samvardhana Motherson Automotive Systems Group (SMRP) entity. The initiative will add new business verticals to SMRP BV, including the addition of the Wiring Harness business segment as well as an Emerging Business segment that includes automotive and non-automotive businesses.

History
| 1959 | The "Badischen Plastic-Werke" began producing plastic products of all kinds, from films to household goods. After some time, bottle crates and stock containers started to bear the name "Peguform". |
| 1972-73 | After the sale of the film manufacturing division, the Company started dealing with the car industry. |
