History

1969 The Reutter family sold the Company to the companies Keiper, Hubbert & Wagner, and Metzeler.
1982 Built the first JIT plant in Bremen and supplied complete seat mountings for the "Mercedes 190".
1983 Keiper bought out all the Company's shares.
1990 The Recaro Center in Kirchheim/Teck was opened.
1997 As part of the reconstruction of Keiper Recaro GmbH & Co. The Company became an independent company under the roof of the Keiper Recaro Group.
2011 Johnson Controls Inc. has completed the acquisition of Keiper Recaro Automotive.
Jan. 2020 The Company was sold by Adient to Raven Acquisitions LLC.
Oct. 2020 Opened new North American facility, Recaro Automotive HQ, in Clinton Township, Michigan.
