Business Overview
-The Company provides lightweighting solutions for the automotive industry, focusing on the development and manufacturing of aluminum components for e-mobility, ICE powertrain, structure and chassis applications. Its products include lift gates, subframes, cross and longitudinal members, support brackets, shock towers, cradles, pillars, cylinder heads, engine blocks, oil pans, transmission cases, electric motor housings, and battery housings.
-During 2024, the Company’s sales volumes totaled 39.5 million equivalent units, a decline of 6.1% from the previous year due to customer inventory optimization initiatives, customer plant stoppages, and the slowing of the shift to e-mobility.
-The Company is organized into the following three primary operating segments based on region:

- Europe
- Rest of the world
-The Company completed the merger process with Controladora Nemak, S.A.B. de C.V., on September 6, 2021, concluding the process that started in 2020 with the partial spin-off from Alfa. With the completion of the merger process, Controladora Nemak no longer exists and has been delisted from the Mexican Stock Exchange, with the Company emerging as an independent company trading under a single listed entity.

Sep. 2021 | The merger process of Controladora Nemak into Nemak was completed. Nemak was completed spin off from Alfa and it is now a fully independent company trading under a single listed entity. |
2022 | The Company opened an Engineering Center in Germany for e-mobility, structure, and chassis applications. |
