-HUAYU Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. is a member of the SAIC Motor Group and oversees its automotive parts division. Besides China, the company is developing markets in Europe, the U.S., Korea, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
-The Company has many joint ventures and affiliated companies with major European, American and Japanese suppliers. In addition to the parent company SAIC Group, SAIC VW, SAIC GM, FAW VW, Changan Ford, Beijing Benz, Brilliance BMW, Dongfeng Nissan, SAIC Motor Passenger Vehicle, Great Wall Motor, Jianghuai Automobile, GAC Group, BAIC Group, Geely Automobile, BYD, Tesla Shanghai, Chery, it has longstanding business partnerships with global OEMs such as VW, GM, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Tesla.
-In 2023, 53.82% of the Company's core business sales were to customers other than SAIC. Tesla Shanghai, FAW Volkswagen, BYD, Chery Automobile, BMW Brilliance, Changan Ford, Geely Automobile, Changan Automobile, GAC Passenger Vehicle, and Jianghuai Automobile were the top 10 major customers in China (excluding SAIC). In 2023, of the Company's new orders, more than 65% were related to New Energy Vehicles and more than 40% were related to Chinese local brands.
-As of the end of December 2023, the Company has a total of 353 R&D, manufacturing and service sites in 22 provinces, cities and autonomous regions in China. The company's automotive interiors, lightweight cast aluminum, lighting, and fuel tank systems currently have established 103 manufacturing facilities (including R&D) outside of China in the United States, Germany, Thailand, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, India, Mexico, Canada, South Africa, Japan, Spain, Italy, Brazil, as well as countries such as Indonesia, Serbia, Malaysia, and Uzbekistan.
