History

1987 Established as Fujian Yaohua Glass Industrial Co., Ltd. in Fuzhou, Fujian. Started to produce automotive safety glass.
1991 Became a stock company and changed the company name to Fujian Yaohua Glass Industrial Co., Ltd.
June 1993 Listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Dec. 1994 Established Fuyao (Hong Kong) Limited in Hong Kong by investing USD 2 million. The new subsidiary engages in Fuyao Group's import and export operations.
Mar. 1994 Established Fuyao Group (Fujian) Machine Manufacture Co., Ltd. to manufacture machinery to produce automotive glass; in Fuqing City, Fujian Province.
July 1994 Established Fujian Wanda Auto Glass Industry Co., Ltd. The new subsidiary manufactures automotive safety glass.
Dec. 1994 Established Greenville Glass Industries Inc. in South Carolina, U.S.A. as a sales agent for the North American market (USA and Canada).
Dec. 1995 Established Fuzhou Greenville Glass Co., Ltd., which was absorbed by Fujian Wanda Automobile Glass Industry Co., Ltd. in 2005.

Jan. 2004 Jointly with GDX of the U.S. established GDX-Fuyao Glass Systems (Changchun) Co., Ltd. to manufacture automotive glass sealing.
Mar. 2004 Established Fuyao Glass (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. to manufacture automotive safety glass; in Chongqing City.
Aug. 2004 Established Fuyao Hainan Float Glass Co., Ltd. to manufacture float glass; in Haikou City, Hainan Province.
Mar. 2005 Established Fuyao (America) Limited in South Carolina, U.S.A. to take over  marketing operations for Fuyao glass which had been conducted at Greenville Glass Industries, Inc.
2006 The Company established Guangzhou Nansha Fuyao Automobile Glass Co.,  Ltd. in the Nansha Development Zone, Guangzhou City in order to manufacture safety glass.
June 2006 Fujian Wanda Automobile Glass Industry Co., Ltd. established Guangzhou Fuyao Glass Co., Ltd. to manufacture automotive safety glass; in Zengcheng City, Guangdong Province.
July 2006 Established Fuyao Fujian Glass Bonding Co., Ltd. to manufacture edge-wrapping automotive safety glass; in Fuqing City, Fujian Province.
July 2006 Established Fuyao Fujian Automobile Fittings Co., Ltd. to manufacture roof windows and window frames; in Fuqing City, Fujian Province.
Oct. 2006 Established Fuyao (Fujian) Bus Glass Co., Ltd. to manufacture windshields for buses; in Fuqing City, Fujian Province.
March 2007 The Company established Shanghai Fuyao Coach Glass Co., Ltd. in Anting Automobile City, Shanghai in order to manufacture special glass for large buses.
May 2007 The Company established Fuyao Automotive Trim (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Anting Automobile City, Shanghai in order to manufacture window trims.
Nov. 2007 The Company established Fuyao Glass (Hubei) Co.,  Ltd. in the Jingmen Development Zone, Hubei Province to manufacture safety glass products and special glass.
Nov. 2007 The Company acquired SCHE35 Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, an automotive glazing unit of  Zehner Industriebeteiligungs-GmbH of Germany. After the capital buyout was completed, the German subsidiary was renamed Fuyao Europe GmbH.
July. 2008 Jointly with Ningbo Chifei Automobile Parts Co.,Ltd. established Ningbo Fuyao Automobile Parts Co.,Ltd. to produce moldings.

Oct. 2013 The Company established a wholly owned subsidiary in Ohio, U.S.A. to produce automotive safety glass.
Dec. 2013 Yantai Fuyao Glass Co., Ltd., a sub-subsidiary of the Company, broke ground for its automotive glass plant.
