History

Dec. 1951	Established Sonoike Valve Inc. in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo to manufacture and sell engine valves.
Jun. 1952	Completed construction of a plant in Ota-ku, Tokyo and began operations.
Jun. 1952	Changed the name of the Company to Fuji Valve Inc.
Jul. 1953	Daido steel Co., Ltd. invested in the Company.
Oct. 1965	Completed construction of the Fujisawa Plant.
Sep. 1970	Moved main plant to Fujisawa.
Jan. 1972	Acquired capital in Shin Han Valve Ind. Co., Ltd. of Korea, an affiliate accounted for under the equity method.
Jan. 1979	Acquired capital in Wuchou Valve Industry Co., Ltd. of Taiwan, an affiliate accounted for under the equity method.
Jul. 1979	Established Fuji Serina Valve, an affiliate accounted for under the equity method, in Thailand, jointly with TRW Inc. of the U.S. and Seri Wathana ROP of Thailand.
Jun. 1988	Established TRW Fuji Valve Inc., an affiliate accounted for under the equity method, in the U.S. jointly with TRW Inc. of the U.S.
Dec. 1989	Shizuoka Plant has been completed.
Jun. 1992	Relocated the headquarters to Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Dec. 1992	Changed the company name to Fuji OOZX Inc. from Fuji Valve Inc.
Jan. 1994	Established a wholly owned consolidated subsidiary, OOZX USA Inc.
Dec. 1994	Listed on the 2nd section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Apr. 1997	OOZX USA Inc., the Company's wholly owned subsidiary in the U.S., launched production of aluminum tappets to be supplied to Ford, Jaguar and others.

Oct. 2006	Acquired capital in Shinhan Beijing Automobile Parts System Co., an affiliate accounted for under the equity method.
Aug. 2009	Transferred all shares in Wuchou Valve Industry Co., Ltd. in Taiwan to local shareholders. (Wuchou Valve was an affiliate company accounted for under the equity method of accounting.)
Aug. 2010	Established Fuji Valve (Guangdong) Corporation in Guangdong Province, China through a joint investment with TRW of the U.S.A. and Shin Han Valve Ind. Co., Ltd. of Korea. (this company is a consolidated subsidiary of the Company)
May. 2011	Liquidated OOZX USA Inc., which was a consolidated subsidiary.
Oct. 2011	Commenced delivery of engine valves to Dongfeng Nissan, through Fuji Valve (Guangdong) Corporation.
Sep. 2013	Established PT. FUJI OOZX INDOSIA with its joint venture partner PT. Prospect Motor in Indonesia.
Aug. 2014	Established JV FUJI OOZX MEXICO, S.A. DE C.V. (Consolidated subsidiary) with Daido Kogyo, Inc.
Jun. 2015	Announced dissolving its business alliance with TRW Group.
Feb. 2016	Established Fuji Hollow Valves, Inc. in Kikugawa City, Shizuoka Pref., Japan.
May. 2016	Formed a business alliance with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Machine Tool Co., Ltd.
Aug. 2016	Sold all shares held in Shin Han Valve Ind. Co., Ltd. (Korea)
Nov. 2016	Sold all shares held in Shin Han Beijing Automobile Parts System Co. (China).
Nov. 2018	Shizuoka plant and FUJI HOLLOW VALVE INC,.have acquired the IATF16949.
Mar. 2021	Fuji Hollow Valve Inc., a joint venture with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Machine Tool), was resolved.
Apr. 2022	Moved to the Standard Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange from the First Section due to the TSE's reorganization.
Oct. 2024	Established West Japan branch office in Osaka City.
