Factors
1) Net Sales
-The Company’s sales in the fiscal year ended December 31, 2016 decreased by 9.4% from the previous year to THB 3,707.2 million. A slowdown of Thailand’s economy caused a decrease in the number of cars sold. This combined with increasing average household debt and the pull-ahead effect from the previous First Car policy contributed to the Company’s decrease in sales.

2) Net Profit
-The Company’s net profit for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2016 totaled THB 382.1 million, a decrease of 29.5% from the previous year. The decrease in sales combined with an increase in the ratio of cost of goods sold versus sales contributed to the lowered profit.

Contracts

-In the second quarter of 2016, the Company began a project to supply pressure plates for a Japanese automaker. The project is valued at THB 90 million.

-In the fourth quarter of 2016, the Company began a project to manufacture EGR ducts and converter brackets for a Japanese commercial vehicle manufacturer. The project is valued at THB 12 million.
