The Company began operations at its truck and bus tire plant in China in October, 2008, targeting an annual production capacity of 2 million tires over the midterm. The addition of environmentally friendly tires to its production lineup will allow the Company to better meet a diversifying need in China. The Company anticipates growing demand in China for tires to be used for high-speed transportation in line with the development of a national expressway network.
