Contracts
-In August 2014, the Company announced that it will supply its brake pedal assemblies for both the Model S sedan and the Model X crossover SUV from Tesla, an electric vehicle manufacturer in the U.S. Brake pedal production for the Model S will begin in December 2014, and that for the Model X will start in May 2015. -In August 2014, the Company announced that it will supply fuel line covers to Dacia in the Renault Group. The fuel line covers will be used on the Duster crossover SUV. Hwashin will produce these products, starting in December 2014. (From a press release on August 28, 2014)
R&D Structure
-In August 1987, the Company established Hwashin Technical Research Center to conduct product designing, calculation and analysis, research on next generation technology, testing, prototype production, and engineering of production lines and dies.
