- In February, the Company concluded a strategic business agreement with Anhui Hualing Automobile Group Co., Ltd. Anhui Hualing Automobile Group is a manufacturer of specialized heavy-duty vehicles such as dump trucks and cement trucks, with an annual production capacity of 20,000 units. Among its product lines are the Hualing trucks based on a Mitsubishi platform.
Achieving annual production volume of 200,000 engines
- In December 2007, the Company produced and sold its 200,000th diesel engine during the fiscal year, achieving new records in terms of both production volume and sales volume.

New diesel engines
- In July 2007, the Company succeeded in launching its CA6DM diesel engines it jointly developed with the FAW technology center. The CA6DM engines were specially designed for use in heavy-duty diesel vehicles, namely 30- to 50-ton heavy duty trucks; and 12- to 13-meter large buses. The successor model to the Aowei CA6DL and Aoba CA6DN series generates horsepower of 380-420.
