Main activities to receive orders in the fiscal year ended December 2022
-The Company started supplying clutch products from its subsidiary, Changchun Yidong Ricoh Co., Ltd., to the Beiqi Foton Group.
-It acquired new customers such as Xugong Heavy Machinery, obtaining product installation rights for all series models.
-it started production of products for Dongfeng Kashin.
-The Company passed the qualified supplier examination of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd.
-Baicheng Zhongyi Forging Co., Ltd. will supply new products to FAW Hongqi, Rii Auto, and ThyssenKrupp. In addition, it won three new customers: Scania, Chongqing Chang'an and Dongfeng Liuqi. The Company supplies F4J20 connecting rod assemblies and SAIC GS64 to Chery Automobile, EK01/02 to Chongqing Changan, and forgings of 1.6L/1.5T connecting rods to Dongfeng Liuqi. It also supplies two types of new energy hybrid connecting rods, 15TD and GS62HEV, to FAW Hongqi and SAIC Motor, respectively. As for non-connecting rod products, it supplies nut plates for commercial vehicles to Scania.
-Jilin Beifang Jiekai Drive Shaft Co., Ltd. acquired the rights to develop transmission shafts for three major FAW-VW models. The products will be supplied until 2033.
-Changchun Yidong Auto Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd. passed the PPAP audit for Daimler's H6 project and received an order for 1,000 sets of hydraulic lift mechanisms.
Other Trends in Orders
-During the fiscal year ended December 31, 2022, Jilin Dahua Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. exported 2.74 million sets of automotive flywheel assemblies and 1.63 million sets of gear ring products outside of China, respectively. Foreign trade income increased by 23% year-over-year (y/y).
R&D Facilities
-The Company has 1 technology center, 2 post-doctoral research stations, and 6 laboratories accredited by CNAS (China National Accreditation Service).
Patents
-The Company has over 800 domestic patents and more than 600 international patents.
Plant construction
-Jilin Dahua Machine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Dahua Machine), a subsidiary of Northeast Industries Group Co., Ltd., is implementing a high-end flywheel intellectualization and expansion project, which includes two projects: construction of a heavy flywheel production line and a dual mass flywheel production line. The heavy flywheels for Scania, MAN and Navistar will be produced at a new plant. The dual mass flywheel will be supplied to SAIC-GM-Wuling, Geely and other OEMs from 2020. To meet the growing demand, the company plans to build a new dual mass flywheel production line with a planned annual capacity of 300,000 sets. The Company is also working on an intelligent driving assistance vision system project and will expand its business in the CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electric) field in the future, entering the electrification and intelligent fields. Dahua Machine will collaborate with its subsidiaries Changsha Fuyan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. and Jilin Weisi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. with plans to manufacture 500,000 sets of intelligent driving assistance vision systems in the first phase. -Shandong PengXiang Automobile Co., Ltd. (PenXiang), a subsidiary of Northeast Industries Group Co., Ltd., has begun production using intelligent floor chain conveyors for special-purpose vehicles. This equipment is highly convenient, increases the degree of automation and stabilizes assembly accuracy, and will improve production efficiency by 20% after the start of production. PenXiang is promoting the upgrading of its production lines to meet the development trend of CASE technologies, and is strengthening its production capacity for special-purpose vehicles.
