Business developments
Construction of a piston ring production facility with an annual production capacity of 120 million units
-The construction of ASIMCO Shuanghuan high-end auto parts intelligent manufacturing project in Yizheng City Economic Development Zone officially started in February 2022. The company's manufacturing site will be an environmentally friendly, high-end production site following ASIMCO Industrial Technology (Yuncheng) Co., Ltd. The investment for this project is planned to be CNY 500 million, with a planned annual capacity of 120 million piston rings. ASIMCO Shuanghuan mainly produces piston rings, which are widely used in trucks, cars, mini-vehicles, construction machinery, etc. With an annual capacity of 180 million pieces, the Company has a Chinese domestic market share of 25%. New production site for medium- and heavy-duty engine blocks and cylinder heads
-ASIMCO Industrial Technology (Yuncheng)’s auto parts manufacturing site project will be built with an investment by ASIMCO International Casting (Shanxi) Co., Ltd. The total investment is CNY 1.05 billion and the site is 200,000 square meters. After the commissioning, the project and ASIMCO Shanxi (Jiangxian) will have an annual capacity of more than 180,000 tons, and will manufacture medium- and heavy-duty engine blocks and cylinder heads. The project is scheduled to start construction at the end of March 2022, with trial operation in March 2023. (From various media)
High-performance multi-layer composite wear-resistant and friction-reducing plated piston rings developed and in production
- Under the Provincial Chemical Technology Achievement Conversion Special Fund Project in China, the Company conducted R&D and mass production preparation of piston rings for three years starting in 2018. The company built a production base for 500,000 sets of high-performance piston rings per year, with sales of over CNY 13 million. The developed piston rings are said to be supplied to China FAW Group, Cummins, Great Wall Motor, Chery, Weichai, and others.
