Business Overview

-The Company is one of the largest automotive component manufacturers in Malaysia. It designs, develops, manufactures, assembles, and supplies automotive and locomotive components and parts such as seat systems, air-conditioning systems, electrical components, coil springs, metal parts, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) body side moldings, shock absorbers, tapered leaf springs, vehicle interior linings, and radiators.

History

1978	Established Auto Parts Manufacturers Co. Sdn. Bhd.
1988	Auto Parts Manufacturing Group turnover topped RM100 million.
1994	Established its first overseas joint venture in China.
1997	Annual turnover topped RM500 million.
1999	APM Automotive Holdings Berhad was listed on the Main Board of Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.
2002	Established P.T. APM Armada Autoparts' factory in Magelang, Indonesia.
	Signed a contract of forming a joint venture with Hefei Winking Assets Co. Ltd. of China.
	Established Fuji Seats (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.'s factory in Bukit Beruntung, Selangor.
2004	APM secured contract to supply leaf springs & components to GM Holden, Australia.
2005	Established new spring manufacturing plant in Vietnam.
2011	Established joint ventures in Malaysia and Indonesia with International Automotive Components (IAC).
2012	Divested the business in Australia.
2012	Established P.T. APM Auto Components Indonesia in Indonesia.
2013	Established a new company "APM Auto Components (Thailand) Ltd. (AACT)" in Thailand.
2014	Established a new company "APM Auto Safety Systems Sdn.Bhd. " in Malaysia.
2014	Acquired "McConnell Seats Australia Pty. Ltd." in Australia.
May 2016	Acquired 40% of the total issued and paid-up share capital of APM IAC Automotive Systems (APM IAC) held by IACG Holdings (IAC), making it a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. APM IAC manufactures automotive interior plastic components.
Dec. 2016	Acquired a 52% stake in Omnimatics Sdn. Bhd., a company that has developed an IoT telematics platform connecting vehicles to the cloud.
Mar. 2019	Opened a new office and storage facility in Enschede, the Netherlands.
