-The Company develops wireless connectivity, computing, and on-device AI technologies, systems, and services. The Company’s Snapdragon Digital Chassis platforms are used in the automotive industry to provide connectivity, digital cockpit, ADAS and automated driving features for vehicles.
-The Company aims to support companies across a variety of industries in their digital transformation through its advanced technologies, enabling sustainable growth, improved efficiency and productivity through the development of devices that are more capable and connected. -As of November 2024, the Company has a total of USD 45 billion in its design-win pipeline for the automotive sector, representing a USD 32 billion increase from its automotive design-win pipeline value of USD 13 billion in 2021. Of the USD 45 billion in the Company’s automotive design-win pipeline, approximately USD 15 billion is from ADAS and automated driving solutions.
-The Company has three reportable operating segments. Its business is primarily conducted through its QCT semiconductor business and its QTL licensing business:
- QCT (Qualcomm CDMA Technologies) semiconductor business segment: The segment develops and supplies integrated circuit products and system software with connectivity and computing technologies for a range of applications including automotive, consumer electronics, industrial devices, and edge networking products.
- QTL (Qualcomm Technology Licensing) licensing business segment: The segment grants licenses and provides rights to use parts of the Company’s intellectual property portfolio, including products implementing WCDMA, LTE, and OFDMA-based 5G standards.
- QSI (Qualcomm Strategic Initiatives): The segment makes strategic investments aimed at developing new opportunities for the Company’s technologies. The investments are also aimed at supporting the introduction and development of new products and services.
