Summary

  The 25th Kansai Mechanical Components & Materials Technology Expo (M-Tech) was held October 5 to 7, 2022, at INTEX Osaka. The Expo was organized by RX Japan Ltd. The event was held as a business meeting for manufacturing process technologies, machine elements, design support, and factory equipment. This year saw the return of overseas companies to the exhibition, with nearly 100 exhibitors from China, Southeast Asia, and other countries. Exhibitors from Japan were mainly local governments promoting local processing industry clusters. Twenty prefectures and 10 municipalities participated in the event, supporting small and medium-sized companies to exhibit their products. This report covers automotive components made in Japan and parts procured from China, Thailand, and Vietnam.
