Auto Shanghai 2025, officially known as the 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from April 23 through May 2, 2025. The total exhibition space of the motor show was over 360,000 square meters. Nearly 1,000 companies from 26 countries and regions exhibited their products at this event. Of this, the exhibition area for automotive science and technology and associated supply chains was approximately 100,000 square meters, with the scale and number of participating companies expanding from the previous event. Companies such as Banma, Pony.ai , and Huaqin Technology exhibited their latest smart cockpit and HMI-related products and technologies.
On April 16, 2025, the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Equipment Industry Department held a meeting to promote the market entry of smart connected vehicle products and online software upgrade management operations. The conference stressed that automakers should deeply understand the requirements of the "Notice on the Management of Entry, Recall and Online Software Upgrades of Smart Connected Vehicle Products", thoroughly carry out verification of integrated driving assistance testing, and clarify the functional boundaries and safety response measures of the system. It also stressed that exaggeration and false advertising are prohibited, disclosure obligations must be strictly implemented, and responsibility for production consistency and quality safety must be properly shouldered to truly improve the safety level of smart connected car products. In the midst of this trend toward stricter regulations, a large number of companies in the smart sector exhibited.
This report introduces the exhibits in the fields of smart cockpit solutions and HMI from Banma, Pony.ai, Huaqin Technology, Neusoft, ReachAuto, Joyson Electronics, Autolink, iFLYTEK, and SenseAuto.
