Summary

The 19th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2026) was held from April 24 to May 3, 2026, at the China International Exhibition and Convention Center (Tianzhu New Hall) and the Capital International Exhibition Center (New CIEC) in Beijing. The theme of this year’s motor show was "Leading the Times, the Future of Intelligence." The total exhibition area reached 380,000 square meters, making it among the largest of the world's major motor shows. The total number of vehicles exhibited at this year's event was 1,451, of which 181 were world premieres and 71 were concept cars.

At the Auto China 2026 motor show, Geely Auto’s (Zhejiang Geely Automobile Co., Ltd.’s) full array of brands, including Zeekr, Lynk & Co, Geely Galaxy, and Geely Star, were on display. In addition to exhibiting models with a variety of powertrains, including BEVs, hybrids (HV/PHV), and methanol fuel-powered products, the company showcased cutting-edge technologies such as a prototype of its original Robotaxi, the G-ASD (Geely Afari Smart Driving) driver assistance system, and the ShenDun Golden Solid-State Battery. The exhibition strategy aimed to simultaneously promote both the company's products and its technology ecosystem.

In addition to covering the exhibits at the Auto China 2026 motor show, MarkLines attended the "Geely Night" event held on the eve of the show's opening. Regarding its overseas strategy, Geely indicated its intention to accelerate collaboration with international partners and expand its share in the global market. Geely Holding Group (Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd.) has set a target of 6.5 million units in global sales, including commercial vehicles, by 2030, with a plan to increase the proportion in overseas markets to about one-third.
