The 19th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2026) was held from April 24 to May 3, 2026, at the China International Exhibition and Convention Center and the Capital International Exhibition Center in Beijing. Many Chinese domestic and international automobile automakers/OEMs, parts suppliers, and technology companies exhibited at this motor show, the venue covering a total area of 380,000 square meters. According to the organizers, the total number of vehicles on display was 1,451, of which 181 were being shown for the first time and 71 were concept cars.
Leapmotor exhibited its entire lineup. The flagship SUV D19, which debuted in April 2026, integrates cockpit, autonomous driving, and driving control through the "LEAP 4.0" Central Domain Control Architecture. The selling price starts from CNY 219,800, maintaining its high cost-performance.
XPeng has made a full-fledged entry into the era of “Physical AI”. The new XPeng GX full-size 6-seater flagship SUV features 3,000 TOPS of advanced computing power and is equipped with by-wire chassis technology, appealing with direct hardware control by AI. At the same time, the company is promoting a dual powertrain strategy of "super range extender + BEV" and aiming to alleviate range anxiety by combining it with 5C ultra-fast charging technology.
