At NIO IN 2024, held in Shanghai on July 27, NIO Inc. (NIO) presented its ideas and explorations related to full-domain in-vehicle operating systems (OS) for AI-driven smart electric vehicles, Smart Systems, Assisted & Intelligent Driving, and all-scenario interaction (NIO Link) for AI-powered smart electrified vehicles.

At this event, NIO Inc. (NIO) announced "SkyOS·Tianshu", its AI full-domain in-vehicle OS; "Banyan 3", the next-generation smart system based on AI core platform capabilities; "NIO WorldModel", NIO's first world model for smart driving; and "NADArch 2.0", the new intelligent driving technology architecture. The company also announced that it has taped out its first 5nm smart driving in-vehicle semiconductor, Shenji NX9031, and that it will be installing Point-to-Point Global Navigation Assistance Function 2.0 (NOP+2.0) in vehicles in the second half (H2) of 2024.
