Summary

  Automotive World 2024 (Period: January 24 - 26, 2024) was held at the Tokyo Big Sight convention and exhibition center.

  According to RX Japan Ltd., the organizer of the event, the total number of visitors for the entire exhibition, including NEPCON, Green Factory Expo, Smart Logistics Expo and others held concurrently with Automotive World, was 77,744 over the three days of the Expo, increasing from the 74,193 visitors last year. Although not many Tier 1 suppliers exhibited, it seemed that the event had returned to the bustle it had before the COVID-19 pandemic.

  As Part 3 in the Automotive World 2024 Electrification Technologies series, this report introduces such technologies as V2X (vehicle-to-everything), standard chargers, charging related products, battery related products, motor measuring instrumentation, and EV charging evaluation instrumentation shown at Automotive World 2024 and concurrent expositions including the 15th Japan EV, HV & FCV Technology Expo, the 16th CAR-ELE JAPAN International Automotive Electronics Technology Expo, the 10th Automotive Parts & Processing Expo, the 14th Automotive Weight Reduction Expo, and the Green Factory Expo.
