The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, and MPVs, excluding minivans) for July 2026.
Retail
July retail sales volumes of passenger cars totaled 1.461 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decrease of 20.9%.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)
In July, new energy passenger car retail sales volumes were 951,000 units, down 3.9% y/y.
