The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, and MPVs, excluding minivans) for March 2026.
Retail
March retail sales volumes of passenger cars totaled 1.648 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decrease of 15.0%.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)
In March, wholesale volumes of new energy passenger cars totaled 1.144 million units, up 1.1% y/y.
