The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, and MPVs, excluding minivans) for February 2026.
Retail
February retail sales volumes of passenger cars totaled 1.034 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decrease of 25.4%.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)
In February, wholesale volumes of new energy passenger cars totaled 723,000 units, down 13.1% y/y.
