The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for July 2024.
Retail
July retail sales volumes of passenger cars totaled 1.720 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decrease of 2.8%.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)
In July, wholesale volumes of New Energy passenger cars totaled 945,000 units, up 27.6% y/y.
