The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for October 2021.
Retail
October retail sales of passenger cars totaled 1.717 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decrease of 13.9%.
New energy vehicles (NEVs)
In October, wholesale volumes of NEV passenger cars were 368,000 units, up by 148.1% y/y.
