The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for June 2021.
Retail
June retail sales of passenger cars totaled 1.575 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decrease of 5.1%.
New energy vehicles (NEVs)
In June, wholesale volumes of NEV passenger cars were 227,000 units, up by 165.7% y/y.
