The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for April 2021.
Retail
April retail sales of passenger cars totaled 1.608 million units, reflecting an increase of 12.4% from April 2020 impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
New energy vehicles (NEV)
In April, wholesale volumes of NEV passenger cars were 184,000 units, up by 214.2% y/y.
