Nissan Leaf Perceived Quality Survey: Instrument Panel
Comprehensive analysis of interior design and perceived quality
Summary
The first-generation Leaf, launched by Nissan (Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.) in 2010, was the world's first mass-production five-seater electric vehicle (BEV) and the pioneering model in the widespread adoption of electric vehicles. And now, the third generation (ZE2) model has undergone a full model change. The Leaf has been completely reborn as a crossover SUV after its first full model change in about eight years. Thanks to the adoption of an EV-specific platform and an efficient new-generation powertrain, the driving range now exceeds 700km. It features a completely new design compared to previous compact hatchbacks, seamlessly blending outstanding practicality with a premium driving experience.
MarkLines has analyzed the design innovations in the instrument panel, which is an interior component, from the perspectives of texture expression, design concept, and component configuration.
HMIpro Inc., a technology consultant for MarkLines, has conducted studies on 100 models from Japan, Europe, the U.S., China, and Korea at domestic and international exhibitions such as motor shows, compiling a report of approximately 900 pages summarizing the HMI trends in vehicles available in the market.
