Hyundai reportedly considers increasing Metaplant capacity up to 800,000 units by 2028
On August 20, CEO José Muñoz told CNBC, following the Genesis GV90 SUV reveal, that Hyundai Motor is considering plans to increase future production capacity at its Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) from 500,000 planned units to between 700,000 and 800,000 units by 2028.
