Argentine vehicle sales down 31.9%, production down 16.0%, exports up 28.3% in July 2026; exports stay strong despite weak domestic demand
On August 5, Argentina’s Association of Automobile Manufacturers (ADEFA) announced that its wholesale sales of 34,178 vehicles in July 2026 were down 22.4% from June and down 31.9% from July 2025. For the first seven months of 2026, wholesale sales totaled 262,307 vehicles, down 24.9% year-over-year.
