Mercedes-Benz reports progress on cost reduction under Next Level Performance program
On July 28, Mercedes-Benz announced that its Next Level Performance (NLP) program made further progress, with cost-cutting measures improving second-quarter results. Group administrative costs fell by 14%, R&D spending dropped by 12%, and Mercedes-Benz Cars reduced cost of sales by 7%.
