At the 19th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2026 motor show) held from April 24 to May 3, 2026, Mercedes-Benz celebrated the world-premiere of its all-new GLC BEV, and announced the China debut of the next-generation S-Class sedan and the CLA, also a BEV. At the same time, the company unveiled a sustainability strategy aimed at achieving carbon neutrality by 2039, underscoring its commitment to accelerating technological progress across three key areas: electrification, intelligent technology, and green manufacturing.
BMW presented three new models: the all-new 7 Series being showcased for the first time in the world, as well as the long-wheelbase versions of the next-generation iX3 and the i3. By fully adopting next-generation technologies and unveiling its production plans for fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) and automated charging solutions, BMW demonstrated that it has entered a new phase of electrification and intelligent technology activities in China.
